We serve businesses of all sizes from startups to large enterprises making payments easier and more secure across the region.
About the Role
We're looking for a Legal Counsel (Thailand) to support our operations and growth in the Thai market. You'll advise on local laws and regulations, draft and review contracts, manage legal risks, and ensure compliance especially in fintech, data protection, and financial services.
This role involves close collaboration with our Thai business teams and regional legal counterparts. Its ideal for a mid-level lawyer with strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.
What You'll Do
- Legal Advice: Provide clear, practical legal guidance on Thai fintech, payments, and corporate laws
- Compliance: Ensure we meet Thai legal and regulatory requirements, especially BoT and PDPC rules
- Contracts: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and regulatory submissions
- Stakeholder Support: Be the main legal contact for the Thai team, and liaise with regulators and external counsel as needed
- Risk Management: Identify legal risks and recommend strategies to mitigate them
- Regional Collaboration: Work with legal teams across Southeast Asia to align legal operations
- Litigation Oversight: Manage legal disputes and advise on litigation strategy
What We're Looking For

Qualifications: Thai-qualified lawyer with an LL.B or J.D.
- Experience: 4-6 years of post-qualification legal experience, preferably in fintech, tech, or financial services (in-house or law firm)
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of Thai financial, payments, and data privacy laws
- Contract Skills: Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
- Communication: Clear, confident communicator with a collaborative approach
