Tech Lead

About the role

We’re looking for an ambitious Tech Lead to head our Client Facing Applications team. You’ll play a key role in our mission to help organisations understand how they could be compromised in real time. This position is based in Singapore.

What you’ll do

• Lead the Engineering Team in Singapore, driving the delivery of a scalable integration strategy as the platform grows.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Applications to align local delivery with the global CFA strategy, ensuring technical consistency and shared standards.
• Act as line manager for the Singapore engineers conducting performance reviews, supporting career development, and providing day-to-day coaching.
• Design and implement normalisation or standardisation layers that enable rapid deployment and development of new integrations.
• Create workflows that manage the flow of data between the platform and a wide range of integration types.
• Solve complex technical and data challenges from handling large-scale datasets to empowering clients with transparency and control over their data and related processes.

What we’re looking for

Ideal Experience (5+ years):

• Proven track record in leading and managing engineering teams, including performance management and team development.
• Experience as a line manager, mentoring engineers, and fostering high-performing teams.
• Background in an early-stage B2B startup environment, ideally focused on enterprise clients.
• Strong experience collaborating with clients to gather and analyse integration requirements, aligning technical capabilities with business objectives.
• Expertise in establishing SOPs for integrations and implementing strategies that support rapid deployment.
• Hands-on experience designing and managing integrations (push, pull, bidirectional syncs) across platforms such as cloud, RBVM, and data sources.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Backend: Node.js, TypeScript
• Frontend: React.js, TypeScript
• Database: MySQL
• Others: ECS, Kubernetes, Airflow, Kafka, Serverless, AWS
• Experience working in Agile/DevOps-oriented environments
