Associate Principal, UX
Research Our client is one of the top-tier Financial Services that is currently seeking Senior UX talent to over their digital product.
• Ability to strategize and communicate planning of research for full
stream(s) of digital products
• Independently and efficiently plan and conduct effective research activities
for stream(s) of work (with minimum need of oversight and review from Research
Lead)
• Act as lead to uncover and articulate actionable insights from research
• Independently prioritize time and efforts to deliver in line with key GTO
initiatives and requests from relevant stakeholders
• Independently develop optimization goals and corresponding data improvements
and reporting
• Connect business objectives and data technology
• Continuous up-skilling in research related methodology and technology as
value add to the team
• Mentor and support junior team members
• Strong service-orientated attitude across stakeholder groups
Research - Execution (20%)
·
Independently propose clear and
effective research plans and reach consensus with stakeholders
·
Independently execute and manage
tests to validate hypothesis and uncover insights
·
Lead the decision to apply the
correct methodology to different projects and stages to achieve insights in the
most efficient manner.
·
Work with stakeholders to clearly
define and prioritize user research questions and lead the creation of research
materials
·
Work with local stakeholders and
relevant platforms to coordinate all the logistics to carry out the planned
research activities
·
Manage Insights and UX Strategy
activities of assigned projects for on-time delivery
·
Able to handle multiple projects
concurrently while balancing project work in terms of priority to the Business
·
Lead and manage articulated
research timelines from planning to execution to reporting
·
Independently manage third party
research vendors including assessing commercial requirements and logistics
Research - Synthesis (30%)
·
Lead articulation of research
goals and work with data team to draw connection for post-launch/on-going
monitoring
·
Strong ability to consolidate and
present clear research and data findings to impact design and business
decisions
·

Measurement and Journeys (10%)
·
Identify current pain points,
propose implementable solutions, and create optimal customer journeys together
with UX designers

Independently propose measurable
UX KPIs for assigned projects and reach consensus with stakeholders.

Own the complete view (document)
of pain points identified and future product/feature ideas of assigned product,
and systematically raise and review with stakeholders
·
Utilize insights to lead the
creation and management of desired customer journeys
·
Improvement in app ratings for
assigned projects
·
Identify and act on research
opportunities for both new designs and current live platforms, and work with
stakeholders on annual research planning
·
Be mindful of AIA's total digital
eco-system and persistent live environments, and related user experience in
planning
Stakeholder relationship
management (20%)
·
Steer projects to the right
direction from UX perspectives while meeting requirements from stakeholders
·
Guide as SME for BUs in research
matters and enquiries
·
Positive feedback on assigned
projects from customers and stakeholders
·
Effectively and independently
handle conflicts and differences when they occur amongst GDE internal and other
project stakeholders
Research - General Practice (20%)
·
Clearly identify purpose of
different research projects and work with BUs to achieve related results
·
Stay informed and in tune with
the latest developments within research methodologies, best practices, and
trends
·
Independently lead minimum 1
Group wide research-based sharing
Financial and Non-Financial Measures:

Well-managed view of full journey
for assigned project stream, capturing full view of experience (e.g. pain
points, ideas for future improvements etc.)
·
Leverage position as key
researcher to draw efficient learnings across BUs in research execution and
recommendations
·
Independently propose measurable
UX KPIs for all assigned projects and reporting of insights and results
·
Improvement in app ratings for assigned
projects
·
Achieved agreed frequency in
researches proposed and conducted (minimum on average once every two months,
can be large or small)
·
Led a minimum of 1 Group wide
research-based sharing (with support from Research Lead)
·
Positive feedback on assigned
