Job Description
Responsibilities
• Participate in SDLC including planning, design, implementation, testing and maintenance
• Implement proof-of-concept of data analytics solutions
• Assist Technical Lead to conduct research on perspectives from data predictions, machine learning to natural language processing and computer vision
• Work closely with other IT teams and provide insights to business partners to adopt innovative technologies into secure, scalable and efficient financial applications
• Develop data models, prototype, reusable packages and optimization algorithms
• Conduct design and code reviews
• Prepare documentation including flowcharts, mock-up, design specification and test plan, etc.
• Perform AI training, testing and program tuning for performance assurance
• Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements
Requirements
• University degree holder or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
• Minimum 4 years of software development experience, especially on web and mobile platforms; experience in Finance industry is an advantage
• Hands-on experience in Python, JavaScript, Java, Spring Cloud, RESTful API and SQL programming
• Solid experience in DevOps engineering and container development is an advantage
• Experience in cloud computing (e.g. AWS, Kubernetes, OpenShift) and Customer Data Platform development is an advantage
• Sound knowledge in Linux, microservices architecture, AI and Big Data tools including TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, SciPy, Hadoop, Spark, etc. is a plus
• Good knowledge in online payment, social APIs and eKYC is an advantage
• Knowledge in other cutting-edge technologies including Blockchain and IoT is a plus
• Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese
