Job Details

The Chief Information Officer Division (CIOD) provides a range of enabling services and operations delivery to the department and to Australian businesses and is seeking an experienced and motivated Infrastructure Platforms Engineer to assist the Infrastructure Platforms team within the ICT Operations Branch of CIOD.

Essential Criteria

1. Demonstrated experience in understanding business requirements for Azure based cloud environments.

2. Experience implementing solutions for cloud workloads on the Azure platform.

3. Ability to build productive relationships and work with stakeholders including enterprise architecture groups, cyber security teams, and cloud operations to secure design approval.

4. Demonstrated experience applying information security concepts and best practices including Information Security Manual (ISM).

Desirable Criteria

1. Experience with a broad range of cloud technologies including Azure AI, ML and Cognitive services, Data Solutions, DevOps, CI/CD, Integration solutions, and API/Services Oriented Architecture.

2. Ability to work with limited guidance in an Agile environment.
