Head of Investor Relations (Multinational large Group)
Job Description:
- Head of Investor Relations is responsible for establishing and leading the Groups investor relations strategy, with a primary aim to prepare and position the portfolio for a successful IPO. Managing the equity story, investor communications, and capital markets engagement, ensuring the organization meets listed-company standards in governance, disclosure, and transparency while effectively articulating long-term value creation.
- Lead and own the Groups investor relations strategy at holding and portfolio level.
- Develop, articulate, and continuously refine the Groups IPO equity story and investment thesis.
- Position the education portfolio for IPO by aligning strategy, financial performance, and investor messaging.
Job description
- Establish and institutionalize the Group Investor Relations function, policies, and operating model.
- Act as the primary interface between the Group and current and prospective investors, analysts, and capital market stakeholders.
- Lead engagement with investment banks, IPO advisors, legal counsel, and auditors throughout the IPO readiness and execution phases.
- Oversee the preparation of investor presentations, prospectus inputs, roadshow materials, and capital markets communications.
- Plan and lead investor roadshows, analyst briefings, and site visits across portfolio entities.
- Partner with Group Finance to translate financial results, forecasts, and KPIs into clear investor narratives.
- Ensure consistency and comparability of financial and operational reporting across all education portfolio companies.
- Monitor and analyze investor sentiment, market trends, peer performance, and valuation benchmarks in the education sector.
- Advise the Group CEO, CFO, and Board on investor perception, market expectations, and capital markets strategy.
- Prepare and present investor relations, IPO readiness, and market positioning updates to the Board of Directors.
- Capture, analyze, and communicate investor and analyst feedback to executive leadership.
- Lead governance, disclosure, and transparency enhancements aligned with listed-company standards.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, disclosure, and capital market requirements pre- and post-IPO.
- Coordinate with Legal and Board Secretariat on shareholder communications and governance disclosures.
- Oversee investor data rooms, due diligence processes, and information requests.
- Support capital raising activities, strategic transactions, and M&A initiatives as required.
- Integrate ESG, impact, and education-specific metrics into investor communications and IPO narratives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with long-term institutional investors.
- Manage confidential and price-sensitive information with the highest level of discretion.
- Build, mentor, and lead the Investor Relations team as the function scales.
- Establish investor communication calendars, reporting cycles, and engagement protocols.
- Continuously improve the groups investor relations practices based on the best market practices
