Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Export Manager to join our team and drive our international sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG food exports, with a proven track record of success in expanding into new markets. The Export Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing export strategies, managing relationships with international distributors and customers, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Develop and implement export strategies to drive sales growth in target markets
• - Identify new market opportunities and conduct market research to understand consumer needs and preferences
• - Build and maintain strong relationships with international distributors and customers
• - Negotiate contracts and manage pricing and terms of trade agreements
• - Monitor and analyze sales performance and market trends to identify areas for improvement
• - Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to international markets
• - Develop and manage budgets and forecasts for export sales
• - Stay up to date with international trade regulations and ensure compliance
• - Represent the company at international trade shows and events
• - Train and develop export sales team members to achieve sales targets
• - Conduct regular market visits to maintain relationships and gather market intelligence
• - Collaborate with marketing team to develop promotional strategies for international markets

Qualifications:

• - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
• - Food market Background is a Must
• - Experience in Afircan Markets is Highly Required 
• - Minimum of 5 years of experience in FMCG food exports, preferably in a managerial role
• - Strong understanding of international markets and trade regulations
• - Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• - Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding into new markets
• - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• - Fluent in English, knowledge of other languages is a plus
• - Willingness to travel internationally as needed
