Position: General Surveyor

Job Summary:

As a General Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing and conducting surveys for our development projects. You will work closely with our engineering and construction teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of surveys, as well as providing guidance and support on survey-related matters. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Conduct surveys for land, buildings, and other structures using various surveying equipment and techniques
• - Prepare and maintain accurate survey records, including maps, drawings, and reports
• - Collaborate with engineers and construction teams to ensure proper placement and alignment of structures and infrastructure
• - Analyze survey data and provide recommendations for adjustments or modifications as needed
• - Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards
• - Manage surveying equipment and supplies, and coordinate repairs and maintenance as needed
• - Provide guidance and support to junior surveyors and other team members
• - Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders
• - Stay up to date with industry developments and advancements in surveying technology and techniques

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a General Surveyor, preferably in a large development company
• .Strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment
• Proficiency in using surveying software and tools, such as GPS, total stations, and laser scanners
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
