Tendering & Estimation Manager, (INTERNATIONAL FIRM) -Cairo

 Job Description:

Description:

  • Thoroughly analyze the client's Request for Proposal (RFP) to understand the project requirements and objectives.
  • Identify and clarify any ambiguities or uncertainties in the bid conditions by communicating with the client.
  • Coordinate with the estimation team, site team, and design team to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the RFP.
  • Lead the tender management process, ensuring that all technical and commercial requirements are met within the specified timelines.
  • Align with the required teams to prepare and compile necessary documentation such as financial bonds, design proposals, site visit reports, etc.
  • Ensure that all team members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines to achieve timely submission of the bid.
  • Collaborate with the estimation team to accurately calculate costs and pricing for the project.
  • Analyze all cost components, including materials, labor, equipment, and overheads, to develop a competitive and realistic bid.
  • Ensure that all cost estimates are detailed, precise, and aligned with the project requirements Develop a deep understanding of the provided project scope, conditions, and targets specified in the

  • Ensure that all aspects of the RFP are addressed in the bid, including technical specifications, project timelines, and compliance requirements.
  • Communicate any critical details or changes in the RFP to all relevant team members.
  • Conduct a thorough review of both the financial and technical proposals to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify that all aspects of the bid align with the client's requirements and expectations.
  • Ensure that the bid is competitive and capable of securing the project award.
  • Identify and calculate all hidden costs, such as contingencies and risk factors, that may impact the project budget.
  • Analyze indirect costs, including administrative expenses, project management fees, and other overheads.
  • Ensure that these costs are accurately reflected in the bid to avoid unforeseen expenses.
  • Participate in the negotiation and conclusion of agreements and contract terms with the client.
  • Ensure that all contract terms are clearly defined, including payment schedules, project milestones, and deliverables.
  • Confirm that the final contract aligns with the bid proposal and the clients expectations.
  • Ready to do what is required of you under the direction of the Department Manager.

Competencies:

Certificates Required

  • Certificate civil engineer or Architect
  • Strong written and spoking English.
