Division: Power Division- Energy Efficiency

Job main scope:

• The Energy Engineer position will focus on the auditing and management of energy efficiency and renewable
  projects related to the identification and quantification of energy efficiency opportunities associated
  with new and existing buildings across all systems, equipment and energy producing structures including, but
  not limited to, Chillers, HVAC fans, Package units, lighting, controls, and automation. Energy Engineers will be responsible for all the stages of DFS from setting a metering plan, to site measurements, review drawings, assist in client meetings and technical discussions.
• Minimum required educational level: Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering degree
• Minimum required experience: Between 3-6 years of experience in the Energy Field

Pre-requisite skills & training:

• Bachelors level degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering /energy management.
• Certified Energy Manager (CEM) from the Association of Energy Engineers.
• Strong knowledge in HAVC systems: chillers, chilled water pumping and their sequencing, AHUs, CAV and VAV operation, build regression model for different HVAC systems, problems related to low ΔT, etc..
• Analytical Skills for analyzing energy usage and identifying areas for improvement
• Strong Knowledge of HVAC Systems (chillers, HVAC Fans, sequencing, VAV boxes, VFD operation in relation with ΔP, etc...), energy-saving measures, and BMS control.
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge in AutoCad, Excel Microsoft Office
• Initiative and the ability to recognize emerging problems and proactively develop solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, professional in appearance, attitude & communicate effectively.
• Self-motivation, Results-oriented, Ability to thrive in a business environment, Team Player with very good interpersonal skills and a track record of working closely with colleagues to achieve goals.

• Possession of strong written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in English both written and spoken
