Job Description:
Designation: MATERIALS ENGINEER
Qualification:
- Bachelor Of Engineering or Bachelor in Technical Civil Engineering
- Experience: 12 to 15 years in the same or similar field
- Department: PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Site I Project Location:Any Assigned Project
- Reporting to: (HOD) PROJECT'S COORDINATOR
JOB DETAILS:
- Identify, develop, and test materials for specific applications, ensuring performance, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct experiments, tests, and analyses to determine material properties, behaviour, and performance.
- Investigate material failures, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain material specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure material requirements are met
- Stay updated on new materials, technologies, and trends, applying this knowledge to improve existing products or develop new ones.
- Identify opportunities to reduce material costs, optimize material usage, and improve process efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to material development, testing, and analysis.
- Continuously evaluate workshop processes, introducing improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and equipment reliability.
- Executing any other tasks assigned by the HOD.
- Follow Safety at all times, Safety violations will lead to written warning I penalty/ termination
- under the company Health & Safety Policy.
