ABOUT THE ROLE:
We seek a dynamic Delivery Director to lead one of our top-Noch cross-functional delivery teams and ensure seamless execution of high-impact software projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large, complex delivery operations, working with diverse teams, and driving operational excellence. This role focuses on the end-to-end delivery of projects, including roles such as DevOps, AEM development, content management, and product strategy. The primary goals will be to optimize our teams' performance, oversee process efficiency, and ensure quality outcomes.
SPECIFIC RESPONSABILITIES
Lead and manage a team of 90+ professionals, including DevOps, AEM Developers, AdTechs, Product Managers, Content Managers, Product Strategists, Research QA, and Copywriters. Ensure alignment across teams and smooth project execution.
Oversee the delivery of complex software projects from initiation through to deployment, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Maintain responsibility for the full lifecycle of projects, ensuring high-quality execution.
Facilitate collaboration between diverse teams, including development, product, content, and QA. Drive effective communication and alignment of objectives across all functional areas, ensuring that all teams work cohesively towards common goals.
Ensure that resources are efficiently allocated across teams based on project needs. Optimize team performance by balancing workloads, addressing resource gaps, and ensuring that the right expertise is applied to each project.
- Define and implement delivery methodologies and best practices across all teams. Continuously assess and improve project management processes to ensure optimal efficiency and delivery quality.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to project delivery, ensuring that any issues are resolved quickly and do not impact timelines or quality.
- Ensure that all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality. Lead the development and implementation of quality assurance processes across all stages of project delivery, from development through content creation and testing.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies, implementing best practices, and leading initiatives to enhance team collaboration and productivity.
- Work closely with senior leadership and stakeholders to ensure that project goals are aligned with business objectives. Regularly report on project health, timelines, and deliverables, and provide insights on project performance.
- Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining cost control. Track project financials, ensuring profitability while delivering high-quality solutions.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Must have:
+5 years' experience working in a similar role with B2B software or in a tech company.
English Proficiency in writing and speaking (C2 TOEFL C2 IELTS C2 CAE exam level - is a MUST)
Good technology skills, able to quickly learn new software/solutions.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in Spanish and English. Portuguese instead of Spanish may be considered
Confidence speaking with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and comfortable liaising with enterprise corporate clients.
Project Management Expertise: Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile and Scrum. Experience in managing multiple complex software projects simultaneously, ensuring that all teams are aligned and on track.
Cross-Functional Team Management: Experience in working with and leading diverse teams, including development, content, product, and QA. Ability to manage the unique challenges of coordinating multiple disciplines within a single project.
- Process Improvement & Efficiency: Expertise in optimizing project delivery processes and implementing best practices across multiple teams. Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance team performance and project outcomes.
- Risk & Issue Management: Strong problem-solving skills and experience in identifying and mitigating risks early in the project lifecycle to prevent delays or quality issues.
- Financial Acumen: Experience managing budgets and resources for large-scale projects. Proven ability to track costs and allocate resources efficiently to ensure profitability while maintaining project quality.
