Job Responsibilities:

• Meet clients and visit project sites directly.
• Consult with clients to discern their requirements and preferences.
• Conduct site surveys and analyze environmental reports, including drainage and energy use assessments.
• Collaborate with Project Consultants, Engineers, and Building Architects when needed.
• Select appropriate materials for designs based on client preferences and prepare cost estimates and specifications.
• Develop vendor relationships to achieve pricing objectives.
• Coordinate with nurseries for plants, soils, and other landscaping requirements.
• Present design images, incorporating client and regulatory feedback.
• Propose plans and timelines for client approval.
• Create post-project planting schedules to maintain landscape health and beauty.
• Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, and architects, both in writing and orally.
• Seek input from local stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate with local regulatory committees and legal organizations to ensure compliance with conservation, water use, and safety laws.
• Brief the project team on scope, design, and expectations.
• Oversee project progress, ensuring adherence to design and timeline.
• Organize weekly project progress meetings.
• Inspect landscaping work to ensure alignment with original plans.
• Prepare written reports.
• Follow up with clients post-project to ensure satisfaction and maintain future business relationships.
• Stay current with landscaping trends through ongoing research and education, applying new design concepts.
• Apply marketing skills to expand the client base.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Landscape
• Architecture or relevant qualifications.
• A minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in creating plans, designs, and drawings using AutoCAD and Photoshop software for graphic representations.
• Clear and efficient communication skills, both written and visual.
• Strong relationship-building abilities at all levels, internal and external.
• Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
