• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Confers with customers, if necessary, to determine the nature of any electrical malfunctions.
• Determines malfunction of electrical system by visual inspection and use of testing devices such as oscilloscope, voltmeter, and ammeter.
• Estimates the cost of repairs based on parts and labor charges. 
• Repairs or replaces defective wiring.

Qualifications:

• Certification as an Auto Electrician.
• 2-4 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience as an Auto Electrician for Heavy Equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
