About the job CNC Machinist - 3rd Shift
Responsibilities
· Plans for each days machining by studying blueprints, engineering plans, and materials.
· Analyzes information and finds the best solutions to problems.
· Programs CNC mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points.
· Must be capable of reading and editing G-Code.
· Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing operations.
· Adhering to safety procedures and regulations to ensure safe operations.
· Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
· Continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions in our internal electronic system.
· Confers with engineers, production, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.
Qualifications and Skills
· Ability to operate and program CNC mills or lathe
· Proficient computer and technical skills
· Can read blueprints
· Detail oriented
· Team player
· Self-starter
Education and Experience Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Experience operating CNC mills and lathes in a production environment
