Job Summary
The Senior Electrician is responsible for performing a wide range of electrical work across assigned locations or regions. This role supports production and manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing industrial electrical equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities

Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on industrial and mining equipment

Install, adjust, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, gauges, and instruments

Troubleshoot and evaluate electrical issues; coordinate necessary repairs and modifications
-
Ensure all repairs and maintenance meet manufacturer standards
-
Maintain clean and organized work areas (good housekeeping practices)
-
Adhere to all OSHA and MSHA safety regulations
-
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times on plant grounds
-
Meet or exceed established safety standards
-
Complete additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
-
Minimum of 5 years of electrical maintenance experience
-
At least 3 years of experience in aggregate, cement, or heavy industrial operations (preferred)

Experience with power distribution systems
-
Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and digital drives
-
High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Associate degree in electrical maintenance or equivalent technical training preferred
-
Ability to read, write, and speak English
-
Bilingual skills are a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including motor control circuits and relay logic

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, reports, and written instructions

Ability to read and create mechanical, electrical, and structural blueprints and drawings

Solid math and mechanical aptitude

Proficient in computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email systems

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Ability to prioritize tasks and work both independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions

Regular exposure to extreme heat, cold, noise, and outdoor environments

Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) while on-site

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, turning, and climbing

Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
