MIG Welder

Job description:

PFL is looking to hire an experienced MIG Welder to work the first shift in Burlington, NC.

Must have 1 to 2 years of experience with MIG Welding and blueprint reading.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH SHEET METAL!

Pay Rate: $20 - 22

1st shift 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

• Welding together metals using MIG Welding.
• Expected to take initiative & be proactive.
• Able to read & understand shop orders, production schedules & follow written or verbal instructions.
• Meet & exceed the expectations (safety, quality, & productivity).
• Identify & separate nonconforming parts (defective).
• Report issues to maintenance as needed and make supervisor aware.
• Must follow all safety rules & regulations.
• Housekeeping (5S) throughout and end of shift.
• Must be punctual.
• Able to read blueprints, to identify fixtures needed, to identify good/bad welds, to be cross trained in all areas.
• Build ahead items based on weekly schedule to support logistic operations.
• Do touch ups as needed form outcome coming out its cell/paint line, ID tag outcome material, raw materials at work cell.
• All other duties as required.
