PLP Machine Operator

We are looking to hire TWO PLP Machine Operators who will be responsible for producing an efficient level of yarn.

Shift: 2nd shift (3pm to 11pm) & 3rd shift (11pm to 7am) 

Location: Burlington, NC

Pay Rate: $15+/hour DOE

Responsibilities:

• Maintain PLP Machines running to produce an efficient level or yarn.
• Make sure the machines have polypropylene pellets at all times.
• Check the dtex at the start of each shift.
• Sweep and blow down the floor at the start and end of each shift.
• Clean all levels of each machine during every shift.
• Clean the front of all machines during each shift.
• Make sure polypropylene pellet box is full at the end of each shift.
• Refill empty oil drums to within 2 from the top at the end of each shift.
• Mop the entire PLP Dept. at the end of the workweek.
• Clean the back of the godets at the end of the workweek.
• All other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements:

• It is mandatory that everyone working in the weaving department wear earplugs.
• Must use safety goggles when using compressed air. Never aim compressed air at yourself or co-workers.
• Report all unsafe conditions and accidents to your supervisor.
• Resume & Interview.
• Experience preferred but willing to train if the right candidate.
