Care & Support Worker

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care & Support Worker to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to our clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. Key Responsibilities: - Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and toileting - Administer medication as prescribed by healthcare professionals - Assist with meal preparation and feeding - Accompany clients to appointments and help with transportation - Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel - Engage in meaningful activities with clients to promote social interaction and mental stimulation - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided - Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals - Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in a similar role is preferred - CPR and First Aid certification - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Compassionate and patient nature - Reliable and dependable - Must pass a background check and drug screening Working Conditions: This is a part-time position with flexible hours. Care & Support Workers may be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of our clients. This role involves working in clients' homes, which may include exposure to pets, smoke, and other household allergens.
