Lead Full Stack Developer

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Lead Full Stack Engineer to help build and scale modern, AI-powered applications where LLMs, automation, agents, and intelligent workflows are core to the product.

You'll lead both technical direction and hands-on delivery, working across backend, frontend, cloud infrastructure, AI integrations, and product architecture. This role is ideal for someone who can think like a builder, move quickly, make smart engineering decisions, and help the team use AI to ship faster without compromising quality.

What You'll Do

• Lead development of full-stack systems using Python and modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular
• Design, build, and ship AI-powered product features using LLMs, RAG, embeddings, agents, and AI APIs
• Architect scalable backend services, APIs, data flows, and distributed systems
• Make key technical decisions around system design, architecture, tooling, cloud infrastructure, and AI model usage
• Build reliable integrations with third-party platforms, AI providers, social media tools, and internal product systems
• Improve performance, security, observability, scalability, and reliability across the platform
• Oversee cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Guide engineers on best practices across code quality, architecture, testing, reviews, and delivery
• Help the team adopt AI-assisted development workflows to improve speed, quality, and productivity
• Work closely with the founder and product team to turn ideas into production-ready features quickly

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience
• Previous experience leading technical decisions, mentoring engineers, or owning major product areas
• Strong backend experience with Python, ideally using Django, FastAPI, Flask, or similar
• Strong frontend experience with TypeScript and React or Angular
• Proven experience building and scaling APIs, backend services, and production-grade systems
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong database experience across SQL and/or NoSQL systems
• Experience shipping AI-enabled features into real applications, not just prototypes
• Strong product mindset and ability to balance speed, quality, scalability, and user impact

AI Experience

• Experience integrating AI APIs into real, production-grade applications
• Familiarity with RAG, embeddings, vector search, agents, or similar AI application patterns
• Comfortable using AI development tools to improve speed, code quality, testing, and delivery workflows
• Understanding of common AI limitations and risks, including hallucinations, latency, cost, accuracy, data privacy, and reliability
• Ability to think beyond simple API integration and help design practical AI-powered product features that create real user value

Nice to Have

• Experience with model tuning, prompt optimization, or open-source AI tools
• Exposure to AI monitoring, evaluation, observability, or analytics tools
• Experience building AI features for marketing, content creation, automation, or social media platforms
