Storesperson – Engineering & Equipment Sector

Perform Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced Storesperson on behalf of a well-established company operating within the power washer manufacturing & hire, garden equipment, heating, and workshop supplies sector.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the stores, ensuring accurate stock control and smooth support to workshop and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing goods inwards and outwards

  • Maintaining accurate stock levels using a computerised stores system

  • Picking, packing, and issuing parts and equipment

  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure timely supply

  • Keeping the store area organised, safe, and efficient

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a store or warehouse role (engineering, mechanical, or retail environment an advantage)

  • Experience using a computerised stores system (OPERA experience highly desirable)

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Forklift licence is an advantage (but not essential)

Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm

  • Breaks: 15 and 30 minutes per day
