Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment, conveyor systems, and other machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, implementing solutions to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to schedule to prevent equipment failures and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies to minimize production interruptions and ensure operational continuity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for equipment improvements and efficiency enhancements.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and parts inventory.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Assist with equipment installation, commissioning, and decommissioning as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certification or vocational training preferred.
  • Proven experience in maintenance roles within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools used in maintenance and repair work.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in an industrial setting.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and respond to maintenance calls outside of regular working hours.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor and work in challenging environments.
