REGULATORY INVESTIGATOR

Work Schedule: Thursday - Sunday, 6:00p - 5:00a

Description:

• Issues parking citations within assigned routes according to City ordinance.
• Reports vehicles in tow-away zones.
• Reports accidents, hazards, and emergencies.
• Checks parked vehicles using a hand-held device for unresolved parking violations.
• Boots eligible vehicles.
• Reports damaged or malfunctioning meters and traffic signals for repair.
• Will report missing parking signs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Must be professional, clear communicator, adaptable, problem solver, and customer service oriented.

SPECIAL SKILLS/EQUIPMENT REQUIRED: PROFESSIONAL, CLEAR COMMUNICATOR, ADAPTABLE, PROBLEM-SOLVER, AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.

KNOWLEDGE: Basic knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation and simple mathematical functions like percentages, ratios, etc. as might normally be acquired through attainment of a high school diploma or a GED.

Require a valid Class C Texas driver's license

EXPERIENCE: Six months of work experience in document research, investigations, or a related field is required.
