Key Responsibilities:

• Design structural components for a variety of projects
• Perform structural wood and steel calculations for commercial and residential developments
• Conduct reinforced concrete calculations for building slabs, spread footings, retaining walls, etc.
• Interpret and apply national codes and standards, including IRC, IBC, ASCE-7, ACI, and AISC
• Stay updated on engineering best practices, processes, and industry standards
• Ensure effective design methods and engineering techniques are utilized
• Resolve project issues and provide technical guidance to colleagues
• Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Qualifications & Requirements:

• State of Texas Structural Engineer License (Required)
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles and national engineering codes
• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency
