Structured Product Specialist

Our client is an international Private Bank seeking an experienced Structured Product Specialist to join its investment solutions team. This opportunity is suited to a market-driven professional with strong expertise in structured products and derivative-based investment strategies, who enjoys working closely with front-office stakeholders and sophisticated clients.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert for structured investment solutions, providing product guidance and technical support to relationship managers, advisors, and clients.

  • Design and deliver customized investment ideas across equity-linked, fixed income, and derivative-based strategies to meet varying client objectives and market conditions.

  • Work with sales, trading, and advisory teams to identify opportunities, execute transactions, and enhance client engagement.

  • Conduct product analysis, scenario modelling, and risk assessments to support investment recommendations.

  • Drive the execution and post-trade management of structured transactions, ensuring a high level of client service throughout the investment lifecycle.

  • Support HNW clients, EAMs, and DAC on trade-related matters and product implementation.

  • Enhance internal efficiency through the development of pricing models, automation tools, and process improvements.

  • Participate in strategic projects and contribute to the ongoing development of the structured products platform.

Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 6 years of experience within Private Banking Structured Products team

  • Strong understanding of derivatives, structured investments, fixed income solutions, and equity-linked products.

  • Exposure to FX products, treasury markets, or foreign exchange structuring.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including VBA development and automation capabilities.

  • Familiarity with Bloomberg and other financial market analytics platforms.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate complex investment structures and communicate them effectively.

  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with a proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and clients.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

  • Degree-qualified in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

  • Professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, or equivalent are advantageous.

  • Fluent English and Chinese to support North Asia client coverage.
