Multi-Family Office / External Asset Management
We are partnering with an Asian multi-family office serving ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients across Asia. The firm operates with an entrepreneurial, high-performance culture, a lean team structure, and a strong focus on delivering bespoke, long-term investment solutions.
We are seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager to join as a pioneering member of the core investment team in Singapore. This is a senior front-office role offering full portfolio ownership and direct client engagement, ideal for an experienced investment professional with deep multi-asset expertise and strong UHNW advisory capabilities.
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the firm's investment platform, driving portfolio strategy, and contributing to the overall investment philosophy and client offering.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Management & Investment Leadership
- Lead portfolio construction, asset allocation, and investment strategy across discretionary and advisory mandates
- Manage multi-asset portfolios including equities, fixed income, and diversified public market strategies
- Monitor portfolio performance, risk exposures, and implement timely rebalancing decisions
- Conduct in-depth research and due diligence on securities, funds, and investment opportunities
Client Advisory & Relationship Management
- Act as the lead investment voice in UHNW client meetings, presenting market views and portfolio strategy
- Translate investment ideas into tailored portfolio solutions aligned with client objectives
- Partner closely with client advisors to support proposals, portfolio reviews, and investment discussions
- Maintain and develop relationships with external managers, platforms, and counterparties
Investment Platform Development
- Contribute to the development of the firm's investment processes, frameworks, and capabilities
- Enhance idea generation, portfolio analytics, and investment reporting standards
- Support the build-out of a high-quality, institutional-grade investment platform
Requirements
- 10–15 years of relevant investment management experience, ideally within private banking, EAMs, or SFOs
- Strong track record in managing multi-asset portfolios with direct performance responsibility
- Solid investment judgment with a disciplined, hands-on approach to portfolio management
- Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
- CFA Charterholder or equivalent qualification preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently articulate and defend investment views
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a lean, fast-paced environment
