A market-leading global professional services firm is currently recruiting a Manager / Senior Manager to join its Deals Advisory – Business Recovery Services team in Indonesia.

About the Job

As a part of the team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering complex advisory engagements for SOEs, MNCs, and leading Indonesian companies. The role focuses on restructuring, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), fundraising, and project feasibility assessments, supporting clients through periods of challenge, transformation, and value creation. You will lead engagements end-to-end, work closely with senior stakeholders, and ensure delivery meets the firms standards.

• Manage and deliver large and complex projects, including developing project strategies, assessing engagement risks, reviewing and challenging outputs, and driving robust conclusions
• Lead client engagements across restructuring, M&A, fundraising, and business recovery mandates
• Actively participate in business development activities, identifying opportunities with new and existing clients
• Coach, train, and supervise team members, providing clear guidance and development support
• Build strong internal relationships and contribute to strengthening the firms market profile and brand

The Team

You will work as part of a highly experienced Deals Advisory team, collaborating closely with senior leaders and multidisciplinary specialists across the wider firm.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial advisory, investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance / strategy within a large organisation. You will have a minimum of 5 years experience at Manager level or 9 years experience at Senior Manager level, with hands-on exposure to restructuring and advisory transactions (buy-side and/or sell-side). Strong financial modelling, project management, and analytical skills are essential, along with excellent written and spoken communication in both Bahasa Indonesia and English. A Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or an MBA from an overseas university is required, with CFA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualifications considered an advantage.
