Job Responsibilities

• Operates ionizing equipment with or without contrast media to produce optimal simulation images with due regard to radiation safety, patient care, modesty, safety and clinical needs.
• Execute clear communication for individual patients according to his/her clinical needs within establish professional and departmental guidelines.
• Ensure that mould room procedure is carried out accordingly.
• Provide care for patients undergoing treatment according to the conditions and nature of his/her illnesses and clinical diagnosis.
• Ensure matching of images are of clinical value with correct patient identification before treatment of patient.
• Responsible to inform the Physicist/Engineer of any faults in any equipment and to call for servicing.
• Adhere to infection control guidelines e.g. ensure the proper disposal of sharps and any bio-hazard substance after completion of each procedure and practice hand washing or hand rub. 
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Your Experience

• Diploma in Radiography from Nanyang Polytechnic or equivalent or a Degree in Radiation Therapy from any recognised institution.
• A minimum of 2 years working experience in a radiotherapy environment.
• Registered with National Environmental Agency (NEA) as a radiation worker. 
• Registered with the Allied Health Practitioners Council (AHPC) to practice as an allied health professional.
