• Join a team of well-trained professional staff to administer personalized and quality patient care in the OT department.
• To perform duties as PACU Nurse.
• To fetch patient to and from the ward to the OT before and after surgery.
• Checks and identifies the correct patient for the correct surgery, taking special note of the consent, site of operation and allergy, last meal, denture, premedication, past medical history, blood for group and X-match.
• Take care of post op patients in the recovery room.
• Ensure a safe and efficient delivery of post-operative care, monitors and escalate abnormal physiological parameters regardless of types of anesthesia.
• To ensure and maintains accurate OT billings of drugs and consumable items used by individual patient.
• To take responsibility for decontamination of all equipment and accessories following each contaminated case and ensures thorough cleaning of the PACU at the end of the list.
• To assist in weekend cleaning and ensures the cleanliness and tidiness of the PACU, OT Reception, Utility rooms and other areas.
• To order and check all drugs, surgical and anesthetic supplies weekly and also following an emergency. Sterile goods from CSSD are put away in the respective cupboard.
• To update and maintain quality records within the statutory required retention period through proper identification, filing, storage maintenance and disposition of these records.
• Complete ad-hoc tasks and other duties, as assigned by supervisor.

• Passionate, compassionate and ready to assist patients who may need to stay in a medical facility or for a longer-term stay.
• Diploma/Bachelors Degree in Nursing.
• Valid Practising Certificate with SNB.
• Able to commit at least three (3) rotating shifts on a roster.
