• Maintain a safe environment for each patient in Inpatient Ward.
• Ensure operating rooms are adequately prepared prior to the commencement of scheduled cases.
• Provide safe perioperative and intra-operative nursing care to each patient within the Inpatient Ward.
• Demonstrate competency in clinical nursing skills and knowledge such as performing IV cannulation, assist in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, create and maintain sterile fields, correct technique for surgical scrubbing, gowning and gloving of self and others.
• Ensure the correct procedures in the handling of swabs, instruments, needle counts and in the care of specimens.
• Monitor for non-conforming practices and incidents, and diligently report them to facilitate quality assurance.
• Provide nursing care to patients
• Perform patient assessment and clinical intervention.
• Perform swab procedure and serology testing when necessary
• Attend to patients comfort and hygiene needs
• Assist patients with tele-medicine consultation processes when necessary
• Observe strict infection control practices in the care of patients
• Adhere to strict supervisory instructions at all times

What Were Looking For

• Someone who is caring, has empathy, and can pay attention to the details, for the needs of their patients.
• Passionate, compassionate and ready to assist patients who may need to stay in a medical facility or for a longer-term stay.
• Diploma/Bachelors Degree in Nursing.
• Valid Practising Certificate with SNB.
• Able to commit at least three (3) rotating shifts on a roster.
