What you'll do:

Key Responsibilities:

Elevate Infrastructure: Lead the enhancement of our current infrastructure, focusing on developing, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Containerization Expertise: Drive the transition towards a containerized infrastructure, leveraging your expertise in Kubernetes, EKS, GKE, and other relevant technologies.

Engineering Excellence: Ensure the delivery of well-engineered solutions that are maintainable and adhere to set schedules, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency

Collaborative Deployment: Work closely with business and engineering partners to deploy new infrastructure on private cloud platforms, contributing to the growth and success of the organization.

System Health Monitoring: Oversee the availability, latency, and overall health of systems, managing on-call incidents and change management to maintain optimal functionality

Mentorship and Leadership: Demonstrate a commitment to team learning by providing mentorship and technical leadership, fostering an environment of continuous improvement

What were looking for:

Requirements:

Containerization Experience: 2+ years deploying distributed apps with containers and orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, GKE).

Configuration Management: 3+ years of development experience in configuration management (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Terraform).

Linux Expertise: 4+ years of Linux system engineering experience.

Security Focus: 2+ years of experience in developing infrastructure and application security for Highly Sensitive Customer Data & Environments (IAM, CI/CD, PKI).

CI/CD Proficiency: 2+ years of experience deploying with a CI orchestration service (Jenkins, Spinnaker).

Scripting/Programming Skills: 2+ years of working experience with scripting/programming languages (Shell, Python, Golang, Ruby)

Log Management: Experience with Log Management and Analytics tools such as Splunk/ ELK.

Bonus Points: Familiarity with Proxmox.

Continuous Learner: A passionate, continuous learner and critical thinker.
