Job Title: Quality Manager (Transmission Line)

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in quality management, specifically related to transmission line construction projects.

Compensation Package:

  • The offered CTC will be determined based on the candidate's past experience, previous employment history, and the current market standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor quality management systems for transmission line construction projects.
  • Establish and enforce quality control policies and procedures.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to verify adherence to QMS standards.
  • Monitor all phases of transmission line projects (design, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning) to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Lead the development of quality plans, inspection & test plans (ITPs), and other necessary documents for project quality assurance.
  • Coordinate with project management teams to ensure timely implementation of quality measures.
  • Manage and evaluate suppliers and contractors to ensure quality standards are met throughout the supply chain.
  • Perform vendor evaluations, audits, and ensure corrective actions are taken if required.
  • Review and approve the quality-related aspects of submittals, material certifications, and inspections.
  • Conduct periodic audits and inspections on-site to monitor the effectiveness of quality systems.
  • Ensure that all construction materials and works are inspected and tested as per the specified quality standards.
  • Ensure proper documentation of test results, inspections, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure all work is in compliance with national and international standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
  • Prepare and submit regular quality reports to senior management, detailing audit findings, non-conformities, and corrective actions taken.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and clients as required to demonstrate compliance.
  • Identify and assess risks related to quality during transmission line project execution.
  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize quality-related risks.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for quality concerns with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction with quality results.
  • Respond to customer complaints and resolve any quality issues promptly and professionally.
