Job Title: Project Manager-Solar

Location: Karnataka/Willing to shift to Maharashtra after 3 Months

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, Scheduling and execution of all the engineering and construction activities of Solar Power Plant project
  • To ensure project objectives are met within specified timelines and budgets.
  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, construction professionals, and subcontractors.
  • Implement quality management systems and conduct regular inspections.
  • To ensure adherence to technical specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements for high-quality project delivery.
  • Monitor project costs and track expenses. Identify opportunities for optimum utilization of resources and cost saving.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure Safety Standards and Protocols in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Manage suppliers and ensure timely supply of materials while adhering to all the Standards and Compliances.
  • Manage subcontractors and ensure timely completion of the contract works while adhering to all the Standards and Compliances.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure seamless coordination and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analyse and monitor, actual vs. estimated project timelines and deliverables. Provide feedback for system improvement.
  • Develop project reports, troubleshoot site issues, and provide monthly quality and performance analysis.
  • Implement daily and monthly checklists for preventive and corrective actions, focusing on reducing downtime and enhancing efficiency.
  • Resolve site-related issues, and review progress.

Requirement:

  • Should have experience in independently managing entire implementation of a Utility Scale Solar Power Plant.
  • Should have successfully completed End-to-end project execution of 2 to 3 Utility Scale Solar Plants.
  • Should have technical expertise and understanding of installation and configuration of all the components of a Solar Power Plant.
  • Solar Technician Certification is strongly preferred.

Key Competencies:

  • Has knowledge in PVSYST and AutoCAD
  • Has knowledge in electrical design concepts
  • Project Management and Resource Management Skills
  • Project Planning and Maintaining project status reporting.
  • Good in prioritizing tasks and co-ordination

Education:

B.E / B Tech / M Tech Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
