About the Role
Responsible for maintaining production and quality by ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment, while upholding the highest electrical standards. Youll ensure that installations and equipment comply with relevant regulations. This role requires strong focus, the ability to work independently, and the capacity to educate and train operators.
What You Will Be Doing
Setting up and maintaining production machines, robotics, and service equipment.
Working on or monitoring automated assembly lines and stations.
Diagnosing and troubleshooting routine problems quickly and effectively.
Performing preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical machinery.
Liaising with overseas suppliers and customers.
Writing and updating SOPs and job instructions.
About You
Fluent in English (Mandarin fluency preferred).
Minimum of 5 years industrial maintenance and fault-finding experience.
Registered electrician in New Zealand.
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics is an advantage.
Proficient in programming PLCs, SCADA networks, AC, and servo drives.
Ability to work with automated and robotic equipment.
Capable of signing Certificates of Compliance (CoC).
Ability to lift up to 25kg when required.
Prior manufacturing experience essential.

Location and Hours
Location: Mangere, Auckland
Hours: Permanent, Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM).
Some weekend and overtime work may be required for maintenance.

Eligibility
To be eligible for this role, you must have current entitlement to work in New Zealand. Pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing may be required.
