EV Homecharger Technician (m/w/d)_Frankfurt

 Job Description:

PEOPLEGRIP is looking for an EV Homecharger Technician to be part of a thriving automotive supplier seeking to extend its global presence, starting in 2024. This company specializes in producing and providing products to automotive manufacturers and is specialized in the fields of electromobility and entertainment where they supply across more than 70 countries through their nine branches all over the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform routine maintenance and conduct thorough testing on home chargers to ensure they are in proper working condition.
  • Troubleshoot and perform diagnostics to resolve technical problems related to charging equipment and ensure adherence to safety and functionality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and diagnostics performed.
  • Interact with customers (installers) to provide technical support, address inquiries, and explain charging operations.
  • Adhere to current electrical safety protocols and guidelines to prevent hazards during installation, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Keep up-to-date with advancements in EV charging technology, including hardware, software, and communication protocols.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Vocational training, associate's degree, or relevant certifications in the fields of electrical or electronics preferred.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
  • Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and technical manuals.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
  • Availability and willingness for occasional business trips within Europe.
  • Proficient English skills are a must, additional language (Dutch or German) is required.
