 Job Description:

PEOPLEGRIP is actively recruiting for a Sales and Marketing Manager join dynamic company which is engaged in the manufacture of green chemical products. The Company is a Korean leading provider of polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PETG) resins and its mother company ioperates more than 175 companies across the energy, life sciences, advanced materials, mobility, and semiconductors industries.

Your key responsibilities

Marketing :

  • As a SKYBON(Copolyester coating & adhesive binder) Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be required to develop and implement sales plans and pricing strategies by negotiating with current and potential customers to close sales proposals.
  • Coordinate all aspects of sales for the assigned regions and accounts.
  • Participate in sales meetings.
  • Prepare sales reports for management on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Coordinate all other aspects of sales operations including logistics and warehousing as necessary.
  • Analyze sales trends, logistics trends, operating efficiency, product presentations, monthly financials, and best practices and make appropriate modifications in order to maximize profit.
  • Use proactive sales methods including end-user customer presentations, telephone sales, and new business opportunities at trade shows and industry events.

Sales and management :

  • Primary responsibility will encompass regular engagement with customers through various channels such as telephone, email, letters, and face-to-face interactions. Your overarching objective is to discern their specific needs, ensuring a seamless flow of business and information.
  • Liaise between customers and customer service staff members by following up on past-due accounts to ensure all collections are completed.
  • Provide price quotations, proposals, and credit terms to current and prospective customers.
  • The Sales & Marketing Managers responsibility is to visit current and prospective customers to make product presentations.
  • Monitor customer order patterns and follow up with customers on irregularities or missed orders or to reactivate inactive accounts.
  • Identify customer needs or problems in a timely manner.
  • Research and propose solutions to customer problems and concerns.
  • Report all customer issues to the appropriate parties.
  • Attend trade fairs and other events as necessary in order to increase the presence of the Company.
  • Continually explore new ways to improve the Company's image.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree, preferably in Chemical Engineering and/or International Business/Marketing.
  • 15+ years experience of sales and business development within plastic commodities, chemicals and materials
  • A background in Copolyester sales an advantage
  • This position requires frequent travel
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, forms, and instructions.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively respond to questions from management, staff, clients, and the general public.
  • Ability to analyze and use various documents (contracts, purchase orders, etc.).
  • Good understanding of regulations and procedures relating to international trade and logistics
