PEOPLEGRIP is looking for a Senior IT Security Specialist to work at the R&D Centers of a leading automobile manufacturer in Korea, one of the largest vehicle producers globally. The goal is to meet the high standards of European customers and cater to the specific needs of this market.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinating Strategic Planning in Security area
• Develop the optimized security strategy for R&D
• Establish standard security policy and guideline
• Run cyber security committee with markets to share security strategies and discuss common security tasks
• Play a key role for immediate cybersecurity incident response
• Coordinating and monitoring 3rd party operation
• Continuously improve detection capabilities and operational procedure
• Close relationship with Regional HQ, and HQ Security Organizations (South Korea)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Information Technology/ Other Engineering
• Several years experience in IT Security
• Good knowledge of CERT operations, SIEM systems, security solutions, vulnerability management processes
• Knowledge of relevant Information security standards and best practices (ISO2700x, BSI Grundschutz, BDSG, ...)
• Experience in reviewing and managing security permissions and access control mechanisms, including user access rights, role-based access controls (RBAC), and least privilege principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to review security requirements, assess vulnerabilities, and recommend appropriate security controls and countermeasures.
• Ability to conduct thorough onsite security assessments, including physical security reviews, network infrastructure audits, and vulnerability scanning, to identify and address security gaps.
• A very good command of English, intercultural & communication skills
