PEOPLEGRIP is looking for experienced Accounting professionals to be part of the Finance team and work in the European branch of a tire manufacturing company located in Frankfurt. The company was founded more than 50 years ago and specializes in manufacturing and developing high-performance tires.

Responsibilities

• Preparing profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other documents
• Managing the general ledger and monthly reporting, including balance sheets, accruals, journals, schedules, among others
• Overseeing the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Reporting results based on collected information
• Possible collaboration with external Auditors based on ongoing tasks
• Providing guidance and recommendations related to existing accounting regulations and policies

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting
• 3+ years accounting experience
• Great knowledge of German GAAP and IFRS
• Business fluent knowledge of spoken and written German and English
• Structured approach to achieving deadlines and managing time constraints
• Advanced computer software skills, including Excel, and other tools/software
