IT Project Manager (m/w/d)_Frankfurt

 Job Description:

PEOPLEGRIP is looking for an experienced IT-project manager to be part of the growing Bank in Frankfurt Germany. The bank offers  a wide range of commercial banking services to retail clients, SMEs and large enterprises. Furthermore, they manage significant cross-border financing activity.

Responsibilities

  • Customize the systems in accordance with the IT regulatory standards of the German financial authorities.
  • Develop and execute IT strategies tailored to the German market, aligned with the bank's overall global objectives.
  • Oversee Daily IT operations including backup and business continuity, network security and evaluate them according to established goals
  • Ensure IT systems' availability, security, and scalability, including networks, servers, and databases.
  • Implement and monitor security measures to protect the bank's data and systems in accordance with German regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory standards.
  • Responsible for implementing and reviewing of IT-related strategy, policies, procedures and operation manuals.
  • Maintain and manage reporting line with Head Office IT-related parties.
  • Coordinate requirements between IT and other departments,
  • Monitor system and network performance
  • Perform troubleshooting, repairs and data restoration
  • Maintain licenses and upgrade schedules; Identify need for upgrades, configurations or new systems
  • Lead IT projects in Germany from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in both Germany and Korea to achieve project goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in IT management within the German banking sector.
  • Strong knowledge of German banking applications, security protocols, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in the German and global financial industry.
  • Korean Language skill is an advantage
