This is a rare opportunity to step into a key role at a well-established Hawthorn-based legal practice, where youll be the central point of contact for admin and business support. If youre organised, proactive, and love making things run smoothly, this role is for you.

Help shape and support a high-performing team

In this role, youll oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice from managing admin staff and onboarding new team members, to improving office processes and supporting the firms directors. Youll have a hand in everything that keeps the practice functioning efficiently and professionally.

This is a full-time, on-site role, based at the firms Hawthorn office.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the day-to-day running of the practice and office environment
  • Supporting staff onboarding and induction
  • Coordinating general administration
  • Monitoring and improving workflow processes and internal systems
  • Supporting directors with scheduling, priorities, and team communication
  • Managing external suppliers and maintaining office supplies
  • Supporting compliance, document control, and policy upkeep
  • Assisting with reports, projects, and operational improvements as required

To succeed in this role, youll need:

  • Previous experience in a practice management, office management, or senior admin role
  • A background in legal, professional services, or healthcare environments is highly regarded
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong communication and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work autonomously and handle sensitive matters with discretion
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and cloud-based admin tools
