What You'll Be Doing:

As a Technical Support Engineer, you'll be the first point of contact for users requiring technical support. Your responsibilities will include:

  • First-line Support: Managing and resolving incidents and service requests through call-logging systems, as well as providing on-site support when necessary.
  • Issue Escalation: Efficiently escalating incidents or requests to third-line support, third parties, or other teams when appropriate, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Customer Communication: Providing clear communication to customers regarding call assignment, resolution timescales, and ongoing status updates.
  • Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnosing and resolving technical issues, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN troubleshooting, and desktop/laptop builds (HP/Dell).
  • VIP Support: Providing specialized support to senior management and VIP users, ensuring their needs are prioritized and efficiently addressed.
  • Collaboration: Working with other internal teams and external suppliers to maintain high service levels and continuously improve processes.
  • System Maintenance: Ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of desktop systems, laptops, and related technologies.

What Were Looking For:

We need a technically proficient and proactive Technical Support Engineer who is eager to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Ideal candidates will have:

  • At least 1 year of desktop support experience, or a Degree in relevant IT field (computer science, engineering, data science, etc).
  • English first working environment (cantonese / mandarin not required).
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
