- Implement tailored care plans to meet the unique needs and preferences of each individual, ensuring their safety and dignity at all times.
- Monitor individual progress and document changes in their condition, maintaining clear communication with healthcare professionals and team members.
- Promote independence and empower individuals to develop life skills and participate in community activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and infection control measures.
Essential Criteria
- Mandatory Training in care and support aligned to the UK Core Skills Training Framework - CSTF Mandatory Training.
- CPI Training (formerly MAPA)
- The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach towards providing care and support.
- Flexible availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and remain calm under pressure.
Desirable Criteria
- Additional training or qualifications related to mental health, learning disabilities, or complex needs.
