Overview:


We are seeking 4-5 compassionate and dedicated female care staff to provide 1:1 care to our clients. The role will involve working closely with individuals requiring personal and respiratory care. This position is ideal for candidates who are experienced in care, particularly those familiar with complex care needs such as respiratory and bowel care.
A full driving license is essential for this role due to the nature of the position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality personal care, including assistance with hygiene and daily living activities.
  • Administer medications accurately, following healthcare guidelines.
  • Perform moving and handling duties with care and safety.
  • Provide respiratory care, including the use of nebulisers, and manage asthma and allergy conditions.
  • Support bowel care as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and monitor the client's health and well-being.

Essential Competencies:

  • Moving and Handling: Safely assist clients with mobility, ensuring proper techniques are used.
  • Medication Administration: Competence in administering prescribed medications.
  • Respiratory Care: Experience in managing respiratory conditions such as asthma and allergies, including the use of nebulisers.
  • Personal Care: Provide sensitive and respectful personal care, ensuring dignity is maintained at all times.
  • Nebuliser Use: Experience in operating and managing nebulisers for clients with respiratory conditions.
  • Potential Bowel Care: Willingness to support clients with bowel care needs.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license (essential).
  • Previous experience in a similar care role is preferred.
  • Relevant care qualifications (such as NVQ in Health & Social Care) are desirable.
  • Flexibility to work the required shift patterns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
