We are looking for an experienced Visual Designer.

Our client is a Japanese expert collaborator, offering digital design to connect businesses with users and collaborating with clients in DX, service creation and digital initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all facets of the design process and user experience planning;
• Investigate interaction design trends and integrate them into deliverables;
• Provide design assets to Developers during development, ensuring UI consistency and a seamless user experience across all products;
• Take charge of preparing and reviewing print publications;
• Coordinate with the international team, including members from Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, etc., as an integral part of the design process;
• Maintain a solid understanding of best practices related to graphics, color, typography, and illustration;
• Design a variety of elements, including websites, landing pages, UI components, website materials, banners, and branding (Graphic), covering digital, mobile/app, and print;
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize design concepts;
• Collaborate closely with the Japan team as an integral part of the design process.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a designer, with a preference for digital design, encompassing interfaces, digital experiences, or applications;
• Intermediate proficiency in visual design theory, including typography, color theory, composition, iconography, etc.
• Proficient in using Adobe Suite, Figma, and XD;
• English proficiency at an intermediate level;
• Demonstrated passion for staying abreast of the latest design and tech trends;
• Open-minded and adaptable to various assigned tasks;
• Strong commitment to product quality, craftsmanship, and meticulous attention to detail;
• Global perspective with comfort in collaborating with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds;
• Basic knowledge of CSS and HTML;
• Ability to work in Japan for a minimum of 3 months;
• Ability to use Japanese is a big plus.
