Litigator, Dispute Resolution

• Handle aspects of commercial litigation, criminal litigation, arbitration, and other case assignments from case inception to completion
• Determine legal strategies to maximize a successful outcome for the client and see such strategies through to completion
• Advise and communicate with both Vietnam and foreign clients
• Interact with government officials and police
• Argue and present cases before the court/arbitral tribunal in phases of litigation/arbitration
• Interview, select, prepare, and rehearse witnesses for trials and hearings
• Conduct direct and cross-examination and oral arguments in proceedings
• Regularly engage in client growth and business development activities
• Publish articles and make presentations that increase the firms visibility
• Identify and participate in relevant conferences as agreed by partners/department heads
• Build strong relationships with professional organizations relating to his or her practice areas

• Strong litigation and courtroom advocacy skills
• Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize work effectively
• Effectively and persuasively present the clients position and represent the clients interests
• Able to apply legal principles and draw on experience to develop strategies and solve problems that add real value for clients
• Demonstrate excellent legal and business judgment that inspires clients confidence
• Ability to lead teams of junior lawyers and paralegals
• Excellent written and spoken skills in English and ability to present information, including complex legal issues
