We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven International Business Development Expert to join our dynamic team at Company, a leading logistics and freight forwarding 123 years company. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our business operations in the international market,
particularly focusing on India and China Trade Lane.

Responsibilities:

  • Conversion of Rate Inquiries: Efficiently handle and convert rate inquiries received from India, ensuring timely and accurate responses to potential clients.
  • Business Creation in China: Develop and implement strategies to create nominated business opportunities for exports and imports in the Chinese market.
  • Agent Network Development: Establish and nurture a stable agent network for Company, strategically supporting business activities in both India and China.
  • Carrier Relations Building: Cultivate strong relationships with carriers to secure favorable rates directly for Company, contributing to cost-effective logistics solutions.
  • Pipeline Generation in China: Generate a robust pipeline of potential customers in China, identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for business growth.
  • Sales Lead Creation: Proactively create and pursue sales leads for trade lanes, demonstrating a keen understanding of market trends and customer needs.
  • Representation at Trade Events: Represent Company at trade events in both India and China, showcasing our services and creating a positive impact on potential clients and industry partners.
  • Budget Achievement: Work towards and surpass agreed-upon budgets, demonstrating a commitment to achieving organizational financial goals.
  • Sales Campaign Management: Plan and execute result-oriented sales campaigns in China and India, leveraging market insights to drive business success.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in international business development in the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Knowledge of the logistics industry trends and market dynamics.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
  • Experience: 15 years & above out of which minimum 5 year should be in leadership role
