BOM Costing (high-end furniture)

JD: 

  • Prepare the bill of materials (BOM) for sample goods.
  • Create a costing sheet and input the information from the BOM, including chemical calculations and labor hours estimates.
  • Coordinate with the purchasing department to obtain and compare prices from different suppliers.
  • Analyze the cost, compare it with the target, and suggest changes in specifications to improve the cost.
  • Update the estimated labor time and chemical usage in the BOM.
  • Prepare a costing summary and share it with the commercial team.
  • Get the material price, compare it, finalize it, and update it in the system.
  • Review and update the labor and overhead cost rates

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor/College in Engineering/Finance/Accounting/Economics
  • English level: Intermediate
  • Good at Microsoft Office 
  • Experience: 2-5 years in the same position at high-end furniture companies.
