DevOps Engineer (Mid)
Job Description:
DevOps Engineer will be part of a fast growing team of developers to support a range of front end and back end projects for a large Australian client. You will be working with a large team of senior developers and QA initially to build velocity and support as a foundation team developing the front end to support a range of products. We work within an Agile SCRUM methodology.

Team size: 20 in VN and more than 100 in AU and NZ.

- Ability to work in an agile environment and iterate quickly based on customer and internal feedback.
- Constantly learn and keep abreast of emerging technologies.
- Accurate estimation and delivery of deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Create automation scripting/orchestration tool sets, e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub.
- Use git to version control scripts and programs.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using yaml/bicep, AzureCLI in Azure Devops
- Refactor existing CI/CD pipelines and align with best practices
- Performance tuning on app services and app service plans
- Work with APIs (e.g., MS Graph API, SendGrid, Twilio) to develop CI/CD tools.
- Use Jira and Confluence or similar products to build out a knowledge base and manage tickets.
- Use of Postman, SOAP UI, XMLSpy, reading XML, JSON to use and troubleshoot APIs.
- Follow and act on directions of senior staff or line managers.
- Provide guidance to junior Devops resources.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in the cloud space (preferably Azure)
- Extensive experience with Azure services like Storage Account, APIM, Azure Front Door, Azure Functions, Azure Web Apps and Azure Service Bus
- Extensive knowledge of YAML Pipelines
- Networking knowledge within Azure
- Experience with Docker and Managed Kubernetes Service
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines
- General IT skills, networking, server admin
Prefer if having the following
Certification in Cloud DevOps (advantageous)
Experience working in an agile development environment
Experience working with foreign companies, in particular, Australia
