SAP FI Consultant (Deployment & Data Migration)

 Job Description:

People Profilers is hiring on behalf of a global consulting firm for an experienced SAP FI Consultant (Deployment & Data Migration), based in KL, Malaysia.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in and/or finish trainings and workshops pertaining to data migration.
  • Execute and guarantee timely completion of data purification operations Finish data collection for manual/construction items on schedule, with the exception of few fields
  • Verify the value mapping that Local Functional Data Owners (LFDOs) have completed. If necessary, create and maintain master lists for the assigned objects.
  • Supply technical teams with business insights and information to extract and convert assigned data objects from old system(s).
  • Assure assigned data objects' data readiness and quality throughout the data path.
  • Confirm or validate the data (DVS practice)'s suitability for the intended use, taking into account alignment with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Approve (on behalf of authorized delegation) the upload files before to and following load for all designated data items.
  • Complete manual data loads (type-ins) for allocated objects into target clients (if applicable).
  • Execute dual maintenance and promptly supply DMWs for delta load (if relevant).
  • Authorize and seal DVSs for every item that has been assigned.
  • Serve as the point of contact (SPoC) for designated objects during the Hyper-care defect management process.

Requirements:

    • The right person will have at least 5 years of SAP FICO modules experience.
    • Bachelors or Master degree (Computer Sciences, Software Engineering, Mathematical, Information Systems or other) or equivalent work experience
    • Background in IT / Pharma.
    • Very good command of English language and work experience in a multinational environment.
    • Strong proficiency in both writing and speaking Mandarin is preferred.
    • A thorough comprehension and proficient use of the instruments, guidelines, ideas, and methods pertaining to requirements, data, usability, and process analysis
    • Has a thorough understanding of the relevant functional processes and is aware of the data, dependencies, and flow of cross-functional and integration processes.
    • Has extensive knowledge of the architectural framework for the relevant functional area, as well as the linked portfolios and interfaces.
    • Has the ability to influence directors in the business and informatics groups.
    • Possess strong conceptual skills, including the capacity to comprehend complicated issues and information and to abstract and portray the idea in an understandable manner.
    • Strong communication and business partner skills; Capability to handle uncertainty and carry out quick prototyping in response to mature requirements.
    • Able to work in an agile setting and frequently on several projects at once.
    • Prepared to travel based on the project/ services needs.
