1. Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Business Development Assistant Director with expertise in market and product research and analysis to propose potential new product development strategies for the U.S. U.K market. The role also requires effective team management experience. This is an opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking products and drive growth in a dynamic and pioneering cross-border e-commerce company.

Additionally, there is an opportunity for advancement to the Product Manager position after 6 months of successful performance.

2. Job Description

A. Market Research and Analysis

  • Conduct research and analysis of the market and target customers to identify trends and opportunities for potential new product development in the U.S. market.
  • Analyze the feasibility of new product development proposals.
  • Explore and apply new technologies to enhance existing products.

B. New Product Development

  • Develop strategic goals and plans for new product development based on data and market research.
  • Collaborate with design, content, marketing, and supply chain departments to ensure timely production and product launch.
  • Monitor, analyze, and evaluate products based on business reporting metrics, conversion rates, and customer behavior.
  • Build and continuously develop a creative process for the team to optimize products.

C. Product Launch and Adjustment

  • Develop strategies and detailed plans for the launch of new products.
  • Regularly review and adjust product development strategies based on post-launch results.
  • Ensure all product-related documents and development processes are accurately stored and managed.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the direct manager.

D. Team Management and Training

  • Lead and develop the team to enhance market research, analysis, and product development capabilities.
  • Motivate and encourage creativity within the team, ensuring a proactive and efficient working environment.

3. Job Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a Ecommerce, Market Research or Product role, preferably with experience in the U.S. market.
  • Strong skills in market research and analysis.
  • In-depth understanding of product development and brand building.
  • Excellent risk management and data analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Systematic thinking, creativity, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong management and staff development skills.
  • Proactive, persistent, and disciplined.
